Over the years we have had many friends and relations helping us to paint stones.

Every year we are joined by our friend Jacky from London and her daughter Iris. Iris is very artistic and was with Lily and Alfie when their photo was featured on the front page of the local paper.

Cousin Molly was the co-founder of the team with Lily. She came down with grandma in 2008 for a few days and the rest, as they say, is history.

We would also like to thank a local artist, John who has generously donated some lovely painted stones over the years. John specialises in painting fossilized plants and animals and his work on stones is truly fabulous.

Although we pride ourselves on our elegant beach wear (Russell’s hat has lovely pink flowers) the whole painting enclave hit new heights when we were joined by the glamorous burlesque star Kitten von Mew. She painted a lovely landscape.

We have also had lots of new friends that have come and joined us on the beach. Often it seems like we are running a crech on the beach! Except with gin.
